Fall Carnival is Back! Volunteers Needed

Hello Families, 

Welcome back! The fun of summer may be on its way out, but let me be the first to let you know that there’s more fun on the horizon; after 3 long years, the Fall Carnival is BACK and the details are in — 

  • 15 Classic Carnival Games with Prizes
  • 4 Arcade Games
  • On-Site Balloon Twister
  • Wristband Raffle
  • Face Painting**
  • Free Photo Booth
  • Free “Guess How Many” Booth
  • Free Popcorn
  • Free Temporary Tattoo Station

This is a fundraising event with ALL funds supporting PTA events through the year as well as our 5th and 6th graders that are promoting this year. We have assemblies planned and future community events like this in the works as well, but none of it will be possible without your participation and help.

All access wristbands and individual tickets will be available for this event.

Pre-sale for wristbands only will take place 9/16 after school in front of the office. Exact Cash or Check is accepted. All ticket sales will be on site during the carnival.

All Access Wristband pre-sale is $15ea or $20 day of event 9/30:

  • All Carnival games
  • Arcade Games
  • 1 Balloon Character
  • 1 Slice of Cheese or Pepperoni Pizza
  • 1 Water or juice box
  • 1 Entry into our wristband raffle

Tickets are 10 for $5 and will be for sale 9/30 at the event:

  • Carnival Games are 1 ticket
  • Arcade Games are 2 tickets per play
  • Balloon Character 2 tickets

We will also have a limited amount of pizza for sale as well — $2 per slice and $1 per drink

Hello Brookvale Families!

Thank you so much for your patience as we navigate our way to planning out events, activities and assemblies for this year. We are so grateful for the wonderful support received from our Brookvale staff and community and we would love to keep it going! Families have asked how they could support the PTA and the most important is monetary donations. Our goal is to raise at least $15,000 this year and this will go towards:

*Fall Carnival

*Trunk or Treat

*2-3 Assemblies (we’ve selected a couple of popular ones from the past that kids and staff really enjoyed)

*Reflections Art contest

*Winter Wonderland

*Teacher Appreciation Week

*Family Paint & Fun Nights

Hopefully, you will be receiving a packet from your child’s teacher this week and all of the information regarding PTA membership and donations will be included.

On September 21 & 22, we will have a table out in front of the office after school and will sign up or renew PTA memberships and accept donations (checks and cash only) at that time.

Since the Fall Carnival and Trunk or Treat are coming up soon, we would love to add to our prize and giveaway stash!:) We created an Amazon Wish list and would be appreciative of any purchases made:

VIRTUAL MEETING

Please join us for our first PTA Meeting of the year!  Although we would have loved to have our first meeting in person, we are still excited to share with everyone our events, activities and assemblies we have planned for the 2022-23 school year.  With events like Fall Carnival and Trunk or Treat coming up, we will absolutely need the support from our Brookvale families and community! More details to come…looking forward to seeing you all at the meeting so don’t forget to register for the zoom link!

VOTING

Everyone from the Brookvale community may attend the meeting, but only PTA members may vote on issues brought to our association.  To begin or renew your membership for the 2022-23 school year, please join via TOTEM prior to the September 13th meeting.
