Voting
Everyone from the Brookvale Community may attend the meeting, but only PTA members may vote on issues brought to our association. The Bronco Gallop will be happening on Friday, April 8th. Our school goal is to raise $3,500. Donations are accepted from April 4 – 14.

Hello Brookvale Families! We will be hosting our first free Lego Showcase on Saturday, April 30th at the Los Cerritos Community Center. This event is open to all students of all grade levels TK – 6th grade and we will be hosting two separate showcases in hopes that we can stay within the community center’s maximum headcount allowed. With that said, it is important that everyone shows up on time and in their window. We will also be asking families to cycle through so that everyone can see the creations. This will all be in place so that we can include as many children and their creations as possible. Lastly, this is a showcase, not a competition. All participants will receive a small participation gift for showing up and creating something fun for us all to enjoy with them.

Here are the details:

LEGO SHOWCASE-

TK – 3rd Grade – 9:30am to 11:30am-

4th – 6th Grade – 12:00pm to 2:00pm-

No teams- 500 piece maximum- 18” x 18” max footprint/design space-

No pre-designed box kits; must be an original creation-

No electricity is provided. If using motors, must be battery powered.-

An accompanying one page description of build with it’s name/title for everyone to see. This can be blueprints/drawing of creation, feelings/thoughts about the creation, etc.

We will also have a photo booth, free beverages and an opportunity to win a case of Legos if you can guess how many are in our display container!This is a first come, first served event.
