Contest

If you never liked those Reflection themes here’s your chance to make a good one. National PTA seeks a theme for the 2018-19 Reflections program year. Just review the past themes listed on the page, ( Repeat themes will not be considered.)  and use this survey to submit your theme ideas.  Students may submit multiple entries; however, for each new entry, a survey will have to be completed.  If your theme is selected as one of the five winning entries advancing to National PTA for final judging, we will contact you to submit additional required paperwork.  The winning entry at the California State PTA level of judging will receive a $25 gift card.

The student who submits the winning entry at the National PTA level of judging will receive $100, and his or her theme will be presented at the Annual National PTA Convention.

How to enter the raffle: COMPLETE an End-of-Year Parent Survey

Deadline: Friday, June 9, 2017 (11:59pm PDT)

Prize Details: One (1) certificate for Steve & Kate’s Camp (valued at approximately $450)

Raffle Rules and General Notes:

1. One (1) raffle entry per family.
2. No purchase necessary to participate.
3. Survey MUST BE complete for your entry into the ra e. Any survey that is not fully filled out will be omitted from raffle.
4. Survey must be submitted by June 9, 2017 (11:59pm PDT) to be considered for raffle entry.
5. Drawing will be conducted and the winner contacted no later than Tuesday, June 13, 2017. Winner will be contacted by email and their Last Name with children’s grade level(s) will be posted on www.BrookvalePTA.com.

Our March competition will be Spirit Points: the class with the highest percentage of students participating in Spirit Days throughout the month will win a Spirit Trophy to display and playground balls to keep. There will be a different Spirit Day each Friday of the month!

• Thursday, March 2nd – Dr. Seuss Day/Read Across America Day: dress like a Dr. Seuss character or crazy hat, hair, or socks!
• Friday, March 3rd -Bronco Wear/Western Cowboy or Cowgirl (no toy guns)
• Friday, March 10th – Mix and Match: wear different patterns (dots an stripes) or mismatched socks
• Friday, March 17th – St. Patrick’s Day: wear green and gold!
• Friday, March 24th – Dress like a character from or represent your favorite book or movie!
• Friday, March 31st – Wear your favorite sports team apparel!

February’s Spirit Contest is the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Pennies for Patients fundraising drive. Look for the flyer and collection box that was sent home with your student.

January’s Spirit Contest is a Box Tops contest! Bring in your Box Tops by January 31st and your class can win the Spirit Trophy and playground balls.
