Trunk or Treat! – Friday, 10/25

Trunk or Treat! – Friday, 10/25
We are officially in October so that means Trunk or Treat is right around the corner!;) This yearly FREE event for our Brookvale families and community is one that we look forward to:) Trunk or Treat will be held on Friday, October 25th from 5:30 – 7:00PM in the school parking lot. If you would like to decorate your vehicle and hand out candy/treats to the kids, please sign up! This year, we will have a contest and everyone will have a chance to vote for their favorite trunk! The top 3 trunks that receive the most votes will win a prize:) We would love to have between 20-25 decorated vehicles so come join the fun! PTA will supply each vehicle with candy, but please make sure to have a bag or 2 of treats on hand as well:)We will also be looking for candy and treats (pencils, erasers, fun trinkets, etc) donations! We all know how fast these kids trick or treat so we would love to make sure we have plenty of treats on hand:) A bin will be placed in the front office starting next week so please feel free to stop by to feed the bin with your donations! If there are families that are able to reach out to grocery stores or any place willing to donate candy to us, we would GREATLY appreciate the help.We look forward to seeing you there!

Kids Against Hunger – Thursday, 10/10

Brookvale Elementary students will participate in a Kids Against Hunger Meal Packing Event on Thursday, October 10, 2024 from 8:30 – 11:30am.  Our goal is to raise $5,000 in donations and pack 20,000 meals during this event.  Parent volunteers will be on hand to help assist with this event.

Donate via PayPal or Credit Card to the Stratford PayPal page by clicking here or by scanning the QR code. QR code can be found on the  Brookvale Fundraising Flyer All donations received via PayPal will receive an email tax receipt roughly 1 week after the packing event

Kids Against Hungry Fremont Chapter is a non-profit humanitarian organization run entirely by unpaid volunteers.  Our mission is threefold:

1) Plant the seed of compassion by teaching students about the importance of kindness and compassion
2) Love through action by bringing meal-packing events into the schools and supporting students in packing thousands of meals
3) Feed the hungry by distributing packaged meals via partnerships with humanitarian organizations

Our meals are supporting our local community, Haiti school feeding program, Ukraine refugees and more. Since our inception, KAH Fremont has enabled Fremont students and volunteers to pack over 850,000 meals. Our goal is to deliver compassion education and empower all 35,000+ students in Fremont to give back and experience the joy of giving.

We would love to meet that $5,000 goal, so please consider donating on behalf of Brookvale! There is a company match option as well and every dollar helps:) Thank you!
