Don’t forget to bring your pillows, blankets, or lounge chairs. Children are not to be dropped off. Parents must accompany their children at all times!

Wed., March 20th, 1:30-3pm – Rehearsal
Fri., March 22nd, 6-7:30pm – Talent Show Performance
Registration Procedure:
Online Registration will be open on Sunday, February 24th, from 10:00am to 1:00pm. UPDATE: Registration is now closed.
Each student can register for only one performance.
At the time of registration, you must have your performance details ready:
Category – Group or Single
Lyrics (translated into English) if applicable
Name of song/music/dance recording, if using pre-recorded or copyrighted material. Each performance must conform the the strict time limit: a maximum of 2 minutes only.
For group performance, the maximum group size is limited to 6 participants.
Registration does not automatically qualify you for audition. Entries will be selected for audition to ensure as much variety and grade level participation as possible, and reviewed in the order received (so sign up earlier rather than later.)
If selected to proceed for audition, we will email you the necessary details for audition separately.
Categories for Reference:
Theater (musical/skit/monologue/comedy/magic)
Dance (classical/folk/jazz/tap/hip hop/other)
Percussion Instruments (piano/drums/other)
Vocal (singing/mimicry)
Wind and String Instruments (guitar/violin/flute/other)
Strict Guidelines:
Music, lyrics, choreography, and costumes must be age-appropriate: costumes as per school dress code, lyric and choreography does not contain inappropriate meaning (dress code guidelines: https:// www.fremont.k12.ca.us/domain/7096).
At the time of registration, students must submit a copy of all lyrics, translated into English, if applicable (such as dancing to a certain song, using song for background, etc.).

Please join us for our February 12th PTA meeting, where we will have an informal Health Education Curriculum Information Session. Curious about the new health education curriculum for FUSD? Our co-VP of Programs, Anar Anand, is a member of the curriculum committee and will be happy to share information. Please join us from 6:30pm to 7:30pm in P2 on Tuesday, February 12th for an informal Q&A session, covering such topics as opt-out lessons, highlights on the curriculum, etc.
Brookvale PTA is very excited to announce that we will be starting SESSION TWO of the popular Brookvale Choir, beginning February 22nd, 2019. Karen Madsen will teach the Choir. She has a Masters Degree in Music and more than 15 years of experience.
STARTING Friday, February 22nd through Friday, May 31st. NO CLASSES on April 5, April 19, April 26 and May 10, 2019
Classes will be on Fridays from 3:10pm – 4:10pm NOTE: March 15th, March 29th, and May 24 will be EARLY RELEASE classes: 1:25pm – 2:25pm
