Welcome! My name is Sheryl Ashford your current PTA president. I have two third grade daughters here at Brookvale. I am so excited for this upcoming school year! I am happy to be a part of this school community because of the wonderful teachers, staff and involved parents.
The PTA is a tool for Parents and educators to work together to enhance student learning and enrich the lives of our students. One of my goals this year is to build a stronger community and strengthen relationships between families. We will do this through activities like family movie night, family game night, picnics at the park, and many more events.
Our students benefit from parent participation! There are many ways that you can get involved here at Brookvale. We have art classes that are taught by parents, Carnivals and the Bronco Gallop run by parent volunteers, technology support from parents at the school, and this year we want to have a parent rep for each class to help with communication.
